Trella M. Weis, 93, of 4127 Anchor, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2005 in Sunset House, Mishawaka. She was born June 25, 1911, to Jerry C. and Edith Y. Yoder in Shipshewana, Indiana.

She married Philip A. Weis, November 21, 1936 in Evanston, Illinois, he died December 31, 1964.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Barbara) Landaw of Mishawaka; two grandchildren, Sandra (Jim) McKeown of Philadelphia, Pa., and Phillip (Julie) Landaw of Las Vegas, NV.

Mrs. Weis retired from First Source Bank where she was a bookkeeper, she had also worked for Wygant Floral and Notre Dame. A charter member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church where she had served on the building committee for the new church, member and past president of the rosary Society, long time volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital in Mishawaka, tutor at Twin Branch Elementary School and was a graduate of Fort Wayne Business School.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Queen of Peace Catholic Church with the Reverend Richard Hire officiating. Private family graveside services will be held later at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Middlebury. Memorial contributions may be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church Building Fund.
