Mrs. Peter Weissmuller

December 24, 1880 – February 27, 1966

Mrs. Anna Weissmuller, 85, of 217 E. Chestnut Street, New Carlisle, died at 1:25am Sunday in the Farris Nursing Home, South Bend.  She had been in ill health five years.

She was born on December 24, 1880, in Austria-Hungary.  She had lived in New Carlisle 15 years, coming from Chicago.  She was married in 1925 in Chicago to Peter Weissmuller, who died in 1938.  Mrs Weissmuller was a member of St Stanislaus Kostka Church at Terre Coupe.

She is survived by two sons, Rudolph Rank of Chicago, Edward Rank of New Carlisle; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Gubics, New Carlisle; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 9:30 pm today in the H.C. Amen & Son Funeral Home, New Carlisle.  The rosary will be recited by Rev. Thomas Depa, pastor of St Stanislaus Kostka Church, at 7:30pm today in the funeral home.  Services will be at 1-am Tuesday in St Stanislaus Church, Terre Coupe, with Father Depa officiating.  Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.
