May 22, 2010MISHAWAKA - Len Weisel, 79, of Marietta, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on May 22nd. He was surrounded by his family. A retired accountant from Uniroyal, Len was from Mishawaka, and enjoyed his retirement years in Riverview, FL. Len loved playing golf, Notre Dame, spending time with his family, and "a little bit of humor." Len is survived by Norma, his beautiful wife of 60 years, and their four children, Kathleen (Doug) Garrett of Granger, IN, Dave (Alice) of Oregon City, OR, Jim (Christine) of Lawrenceville, GA, and Dan (Lori) of Canton, GA. Len adored his six grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Kaitlin, Zachary, Emma and Alex; and his three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Angelina and Skye. A memorial service will be held today, May 26th, at 6:30 p.m. at Winnwood Retirement Community (98 Whitlock Ave. NW, Marietta), with Father Michael from St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating.
