MISHAWAKA - Lester A. Weinkauf, 90, of 609 E. Battell St., died at 8:21 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Hospital.

Mr. Weinkauf retired from Uniroyal Corp. in 1962 after 39 years.

He was born June 26, 1904, in San Pierre. On July 3, 1924, in Mishawaka, he married Esther M. Henning. She died Oct. 22, 1989. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Walerko of Mishawaka; a son, Rev. Richard of New York City; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church and Uniroyal Retirees.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Warner Funeral Home, Osceola, where a wake service will be at 3 p.m.
