Adam Weinkauf, 77, of 128 W. Arcadia St., Peoria, Ill., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 1 a.m. Thursday in St. Francis Hospital, Peoria, after a three-month illness.

He was born in Mishawaka in October, 1895, and had lived here many years before moving to Peoria. 

He married Bertha Jackman in Mishawaka in June, 1920.  She survives in addition to a son, James of Peoria, two daughters, the Misses Irene and Marilyn Weinkauf, both at home; two brothers, Paul of Mishawaka and William of Osceola; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Becraft of Mishawaka and Mrs. Catherinet Robbins of Tucson Ariz.; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Peoria.
