Patricia A. "Patty" Weimer, 35, of Byrd Street, Osceola, Ind., passed away at 12:12 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Ind.

Patty was born on Feb. 27, 1968, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of Marion and Roberta (McClellan) Elkins. Patty was preceded in death by her father, Marion.

On May 16, 1987, in Mishawaka, as the former Patty Elkins, she married William R. Weimer, who survives. She is also survived by her mother, Roberta of Mishawaka; two sons, Daniel and Brandon Weimer of Osceola; four sisters, Sharon Elkins of South Bend, Ind., Karen (Reni) Van Tornhout of Mishawaka, Lori (Tim) Yeakey of Broken Arrow, Okla., Betty (John) McCaffery of Vero Beach, Fla.; and by two brothers, Robert (Georgia) Elkins and Richard (Della) Elkins, both of Mishawaka.

Patty was a lifelong area resident. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Patty enjoyed being with her family, especially her sons, most in life. She was a graduate of the Premier College of Cosmetology in South Bend where she received a diploma as a nail technician. She also enjoyed crocheting and computer gaming.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Dec. 4, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Rev. Brad Windlyn officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
