MISHAWAKA Sue E. Weigel, 66,
of Hardy, Ark., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday
at Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport, La., where she was
vacationing. Mrs. Weigel was born Nov. 10, 1917 in Kansas and
moved here as a child. She lived in this area until moving to
Arkansas in 1978.
On July 10, 1936, in Culver, as Sue Miller,
she married Donald Weigel who survives, alonf with a daughter,
Nancy Jenks of Martinsville, Ind.; two grandchildren; a
sister, Esther Kaszas of Deltona, Fla., and two brothers,
Sanford Miller and Simon (Bud) Miller, both of Bremen. A
daughter, Diane Trump, died in 1968.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday at the Hahns DeVos Funeral Home. She was a member of
St. John United Church of Christ in Woodland. Contributions may
be made to the American Heart Association.
Services for Sue E. Weigel, 66, of
Hardy, Ark., formerly of Mishawaka, who died Wednesday in
Shreveport, La. Will be at St. John United Church of Christ,
Woodland. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Sunday at the Hahns DeVos
Funeral Home, and from 2 until time of services on Monday at the
church.
Editor: Her husband Donald died 4-15-2007 in
Woodland IN at age 90.
