MISHAWAKA - Mary Elladean Weaver, 76, of Berkley Circle, died at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the home of her daughter at 718 Carlton St. after an illness. Mrs. Weaver retired in 1980 from Kmart after 11 years of service and was employed by Uniroyal Plastics Co. for 16 years. She was born March 20, 1919, in Rochester, and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

On Nov. 17, 1941, in Muncie, Ind., as Mary E. Newcomb, she married Walter M. Weaver. He died Jan. 14, 1976. She is survived by a daughter, Leona F. Cave of Mishawaka; two sons, Terry L. Weaver of Mishawaka and Darrol E. Ruch of Huntsville, Ala.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Emma Bell of Mishawaka; and a brother, Archie Newcomb of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
