Doyle L. Weaver

Doyle L. Weaver, 64, residing on
Darden Road, Granger, Ind., passed away at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday,
May 4, in his home. Mr. Weaver retired after 30 years of service
in transportation with the former Associated Truck Line now
American National Resource Advance. Doyle was born on August 18,
1934 in Berrien County, Michigan to the late Doyle F. and Marie
Weaver and had been a lifelong resident of this area.
On July 2, 1960 in South Bend, he married
the former Nancy J. Dietl, who survives. He is also
survived by three sons, Doyle L. (Jenny) Weaver, Jr. of Granger,
Timothy R. (Pamela) Weaver of New Carlisle, Ind. and Dean M.
Weaver of Granger; four grandchildren, Travis, Adam, Samantha and
Timmy; two sisters, Kathy and Sheri of South Bend; and by a
brother, Teddy of Granger.
Doyle was a United States Air Force Veteran
having served in the Korean Conflict. He was a 30 Year Retiree
member of the Teamsters Union #360, and a life member of South
Bend V.F.W. #1167.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on
Friday, May 7 in Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue,
South Bend. Rev. Don Francis will officiate. Burial will follow
at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 4 to 8
p.m. today in the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Doyle
L. Weaver may be donated to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111
Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
