Arza M. Weaver, 86, of Division
Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept.
10, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Arza
was born on Aug. 11, 1916, in Kokomo, Ind., to Arza M. and Myrtle
(Smith) Weaver, who both have preceded him in death. Arza
retired from the Indiana State Highway Department in 1979, and
was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
On Dec. 25, 1937, in Elkhart, Ind., Arza
married Dorothy Johnson, who preceded him in death on Feb.
26, 1994. Arza was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Weaver
on March 19, 1992. Arza is survived by three daughters, Arlene Gardner
of Mishawaka, Loretta Nelson of Mishawaka and Martha
Weaver of Florence, Ala.; three sons, Arza Weaver Jr. of South
Bend, Ind., Richard Weaver of Mishawaka and Timothy Weaver of
Mishawaka; 27 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; two
sisters, Helen Hoy of Mishawaka and Dorothy (Ray) Kronewitter
of Mishawaka; and by a brother, Richard (Evelyn) Weaver of
Coldspring, Texas.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 and
6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main
Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will take place at 10
a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. Rev. Bob Moore will officiate the
services, with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
