SOUTH BEND - Services for Veria Lee
Weatherall, 77, of North Walnut Street, who died at 7:30 p.m.
Monday in Meridian Nursing Home-Cardinal, will be at 10 a.m.
Friday in Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be
in Mount Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Glenwood, Ill. Friends may
call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Alford's Mortuary.
Mrs. Weatherall retired from the health care
industry. She was born Feb. 20, 1918, in Crittedan County, Ark.,
and lived in South Bend for five years.
On July 31, 1965, in Chicago, she married
Dwitt Weatherall. He survives with two daughters, Anne Brewer
and Velma Weatherall, both of Chicago; two sons, George ''Joe''
Weatherall of Chicago and William T. Lewis of Indianapolis; four
grandchildren; five great-grandchidren; two sisters, Mildred Gillmore
of Voorhees, N.Y., and Bernice Evans of Indianapolis; and
two brothers, James Evans of South Bend and Lawrence Evans of
Indianapolis.
