Erma E. Watts, 77, of Regency Place,
South Bend, Ind., formerly of Michigan Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind.,
passed away after an illness at 11:08 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25,
in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind. Erma was born
on Jan. 12, 1922, in Knightstown, Ind., as the daughter of the
late Curtis and Carrie (Rice) Stacey. She was also
preceded in death by two sisters, Retta McKenzie and Madge
Sheppard; and by a brother, Olney Craft. Erma was
employed by the former A & P Grocery Store and Kroger's. She
was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #308 Ladies
Auxiliary in Osceola, Ind., as well as a cook for the legion.
Erma is survived by a son, James Baugher
of Mishawaka; two granddaughters, Kim Riley of Mishawaka
and Kellie Baugher of South Bend; and by four
great-grandchildren, Chris Riley, Cory Smith, Amie Knapp
and Joslynn Laskowski.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today in
the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral
services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home,
with Rev. Ronald Drake officiating.
