Brother Dennis (Watterman) CSC, 65, until recently guest master at the University of Notre Dame, died in St. Joseph Hospital Sunday after a short illness. He was born in Solon, Iowa, in 1881 and entered the Congregation of Holy Cross in January 1913. For several years he taught shop classes in the University’s engineering department, and later served on the St. Joseph farm, and then went to the University of Portland, Oregon, and returned here recently.

Funeral services will take place at 8 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Church at Notre Dame.
