Loretta H. Wasowski

October 15, 1918 - November 5, 2008

SOUTH BEND - Loretta H. Wasowski, 90, passed away on November 5, 2008, at 10:50pm in Regency Place, South Bend.  Loretta was born on October 15, 1918, in South Bend to the late Wladyslaw and Kathryn (Zakrzewski) Cwiklinski. 

On September 14, 1946, in South Bend, she married Alex J. Wasowski in St Stanislaus Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2006.  Also preceding her in death was a grandson, Ryan Wittner on September 10, 2008, and a sister, Genevieve Cwiklinski.  She is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Dennis) Jarusewic of Granger and Joan (Gregory) Wittner of Mishawaka;  two sons, Larry (Maryellen) Wasowski of Charlotte NC and Jerry (Tami) Wasowski of Crown Point IN; grandchildren, Bridget Wasowski of Charlotte NC, Bryan, Missy and Erin Jarusewic of Granger, Lindsay and Karly Wasowski of Crown Point IN; granddaughter-in-law, Brandy Wittner of Mishawaka; great granddaughter, Lilly Wittner; sisters, Helen Veclotch of Newport Richey FL, Alfred Baranowski of Granger, Dorothy Cwiklinski of Mishawaka and Zita Wojcik of Des Plaines IL.

 A special "Thank You" to the staff at Regency Place and Southern Care Hospice for their care and compassion.  There is no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  St Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, is assisting the family.
