THE MORTUARY RECORD

Stephen Wartha, aged 57 years, died at his home, 509 South Scott street today, at 12:30 p.m. after an illness of four years with complications. He was born in Hungary, Aug. 14, 1860, and had lived in South Bend 37 years. Surviving him are his wife, Ella Wartha and four children, John, Joseph, Catherine and Anna.

Note:  Mr. Stephen Wartha was one of the early Hungarian settlers in South Bend
