Lorraine E. Warren, 67, residing on
Apple Road, Osceola, Ind., passed away of natural causes at 12:01
p.m. on Friday, March 26, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind.
Mrs. Warren was a former cook for several restaurants including
Mr. G's in Osceola, Ind. She was born on Jan. 30, 1932, in South
Bend, to the late Otto and Esther (Schultz) Demien.
Lorraine had been a lifelong area resident. On Jan. 30, 1964, in
South Bend, she married Ray D. Warren, Sr., who survives. She is
also survived by four daughters, Lois Hawkins of
Jacksonville, Fla., Carolyn White of Mishawaka, Ind.,
Jackie Trader and Belinda Wallick, both of Osceola,
Ind.; three sons, Harold Wood, Sr. of South Bend, Robert
Wood of Granger, Ind., and Ray Warren, Jr. of South Bend; 11
grandchildren; a great granddaughter; two sisters, Annie Fristo
of South Bend and Virginia Wanat of Osceola; and by two
brothers, Robert Demien of South Bend and Harry Demien of
Phoenix, Ariz. Mrs. Warren was a member of the Penn South
Firemen's Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Palmer Funeral Home, 1109 Lincolnway West, Osceola, Ind. Rev. Brian L. Beeks, pastor of the Osceola United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial and graveside services will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on today at the Palmer Funeral Home, Osceola. Contributions in her memory may be donated to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
