Jan. 21, 2009 MISHAWAKA - Virginia Ruth Wanat, 86, died at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday in Elkhart General Hospital. Survivors include daughters, JoAnn (Joe) Miller of Cassopolis, Mary L. (Ron Tidey) Whitaker of Michgian City and April (John) Plantinga of Three Oaks; a son, Jon W. McGowan of Hartford, CT; and a sister, Anne Kovacs. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour before service Tuesday, a memorial service by the American Legion Auxiliary Post 308 will be at 7 p.m. will be held Monday. |
