Sharon J. (Pressler) Walz, 52, of Inwood Road, South Bend, Ind., died at 3 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, in Memorial Hospital. She was born on Oct. 22, 1947, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Thomas H. and Laura B. Pressler.

On Nov. 5, 1988, in South Bend, as Sharon Pressler, she married Denny Walz, who survives.She is also survived by her father, Thomas H., and stepmother, Marjorie Pressler of Mishawaka. Sharon's mother, Laura B. (Foster) Pressler preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1991.

Sharon was an accountant with Koons & Koons Certified Public Accountants in Elkhart, Ind. She graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1965 and was a graduate of Business School in Chicago, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 16, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Friends called from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship House, 4313 Linden Avenue, South Bend, IN 46619.
