SOUTH BEND - Helen Martha Singrey Walz, 91, of Green Willow Road, Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in Community Hospital of Indianapolis. She was born April 28, 1902, in Wisconsin.

As Helen Singrey, she married Myron D. Walz. He died Dec. 11, 1972. Surviving are a daughter, Mary L. McShay of Indianapolis; seven grandsons; and nine great-grandchildren. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or American Cancer Society.
