WALKERTON - Dorothy L. Walz, 92, of Miller's Merry Manor, formerly of 404 Roosevelt Road, died at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing home. Mrs. Walz was born Jan. 22, 1902, in Walkerton and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 9, 1922, in Walkerton, as Dorothy Hudelmyer, she married Clyde C. Walz. He died Oct. 22, 1981. She is survived by a son, C. Edward of Walkerton; a sister, Thelma ``Timmy'' Sicer of Walkerton; and a brother, Dean Hudelmyer of LaPorte. She was a member of Walkerton United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 319, and Walkerton Women's Community Club.

Services were Friday in Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
