Mrs. Jacqueline R. Walton, 62, of South Bend passed away on Thursday evening, July 15 following an illness in her home. She was born April 13, 1937 in South Bend to Thomas and Alma (Klowetter) Naragon.

On June 4, 1955 she married Dale L. Walton who died in 1996. Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Theodore Naragon. Jacqueline is survived by her daughters, Victoria (Bruce) Major, Kimberly (Arthur) Walton, both of South Bend; four grandchildren, Ryan, Brooklyn, Brittany and Jordan Wing of South Bend; and a sister, Donna Sparks of South Bend.

Mrs. Walton was the owner of Jackies Mr. Fresh on Portage Avenue, South Bend.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 21 in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., and burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Saint Joseph County.
