MISHAWAKA - Edna K. Walton, 78, of Park Avenue, died at 3:10 a.m. today in Regency Place, South Bend. Mrs. Walton was born Jan. 29, 1916, in Hamilton, Ohio, and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

On June 22, 1940, in Mishawaka, as Edna K. Moore, she married E. Spencer Walton Sr., retired St. Joseph Superior Court judge. He survives with three daughters, Sally K. House of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Sharon L. Katona of Mishawaka and Suzanne T. Dennis of Kenilworth, Ill.; a son, E. Spencer Jr. of Granger; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, James Moore of Hamilton and Edward Moore of Cincinnati. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 360 and Tri Kappa Sorority.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Burial will be in City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Visiting Nurses Association.
