Oct. 28, 1935 - Sept. 15, 1996 Dale L. Walton, 60, of Roosevelt
Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 10:50 a.m.,
Sunday, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind. Mr. Walton was a heart transplant
recipient 11 years ago. He was born on Oct. 28, 1935, in
South Bend. On June 4, 1955, in South Bend, he married
Jacqueline Naragon. She survives, along with two
daughters, Victoria Major and Kimberly Walton, both of
South Bend; four grandchildren, Ryan and Brittany Wing
and Brooklyn and Jordan Walton, all of South Bend; a
sister, Edythe Green of South Bend; and a brother, Edward
Walton of Mishawaka. A sister, Mary Ellen Cooley and two
brothers, Charles and Wilbur Walton preceded him in
death. Mr. Walton was a transport driver
for Wards Baking Company. He was a member of Teamsters
Union Local 364, South Bend Eagles Lodge and The
Whiskerville Truckers. Services will be at 11 a.m.,
Thursday, in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.,
South Bend. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, in the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association. |
