SOUTH BEND - Mr. Commie "Tony" Walls Jr., 47, of South
Bend, passed through this life on Saturday, April 3rd, after a
short illness. Tony was born on October 20, 1962, to the union of
Commie and Ellen Walls. Tony found Christ early in life and was
baptized in Christ at an early age at St. John Baptist Church. He
graduated from John Adams High school and Indiana University in
Bloomington, IN. He received his master's degree and was a CPA.
He lived most of his adult life in California and worked for
Parker and Hanifier. To know Tony was to know his gifted voice
and with is laugh that only made you laugh with him. He loved his
dog "Buzz." He was preceded in death by his beloved
nephew, Bradley Walls; his maternal grandmother, Cora Searight;
his paternal grandparents, Anthony and Louis Gulley; aunts, Cora
Phillips, Bertha Murray and Jeannette Searight; uncles, Dan and
Willie Searight. He leaves to cherish his memories parents,
Commie Walls of Richmond, VA, Ellen Walls of South Bend; two
brothers, Donald Leroy Walls of Saginaw, MI, and Ronald James
(Tammy) Walls of Lansing, MI; a nephew, Jaikub Walls; special
aunts, Jannie Boddy, Louise Timmons, Jessie Jones, Katie Taylor
and Mollie White; uncles, George Searight and Leroy Campbell; and
other relatives and friends. Services for Mr. Commie
"Tony" Walls Jr. will be held on Saturday, April 10,
2010, in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home Inc, 2702 Lincoln Way
West, South Bend, IN. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and
funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow
funeral services at Riverview Cemetery. The Clark-O'Neal Funeral
Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
