John George Wallisch, 76, 0f 2806 S. Main St., died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday in his home. He retired in 1957 as a custodian at the University of Notre Dame. Born on Feb 28,1887, in Austria, he came here 56 years ago from Texas. He married Rose Kolendorfer on April 30, 1912. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Susie Comestock, South Bend. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Zahoran Funeral Home. He was a member of St. Stephen's Society of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the DFV German Club.

Relationship error in obituary:  Susie Comstock <correct spelling> was actually John's sister - not his daughter - both his sister and daughter were named Susan.
