Camiel Wallaert,
77, of 832 W. Colfax Ave., died Saturday in the Osteopathic Hospital
after an illness of several years.
He was born in Belgium
in 1879 and came to the United States in 1907. He came here
in 1942 from Decatur IN and had been a gardener at the University
of Notre Dame.
Friends may call
after 7pm today in the Orvis Funeral Home. Services will be
conducted at 9am Tuesday in the funeral home by Very Rev. Msgr.
Elmer G. Peterson, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial
will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
