Peter Walkowski

February 19, 1900 - February 1, 1958

Peter Walkowski, 2103 W. Bertrand St., died at 11:05pm Saturday in his residence after suffering a heart attack. 

He was born in South Bend February 19, 1900.  On May 14, 1925, he married Miss Jennie Kilinski, who survives.  Mr. Walkowski was employed by the Bendix Products Division of Bendix Aviation Corp.  Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Kopczynski, Mrs. Marcia Underly and Mrs. Betty Elias, all of South Bend; three sons, Ernie, James and Ralph, all at home; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Swiental, Mrs. Stella Chelminiak and Mrs. Veronica Nemeth; and two brothers, John and Clement, of South Bend

Friends may call after 7pm today in the St Joseph Funeral Home Chapel.  services will be held at 9am Wednesday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Sigmund Jankowski, CSC, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Polish Cemetery.
