Brother Paulinus Walker CSC

Brother Paulinus Walker CSC, 78, of St. Joseph Farm, Granger, Ind. was dead on arrival Sunday morning at St. Joseph Hospital, after suffering a heart attack at the farm. He had been stationed at the farm for 48 years. He was born May 1, 1888 at Montgomery, Ala., receiving the habit Jan. 6, 1917 and making his final profession of vows Jan. 23, 1922. He came to St. Joseph Farm in 1918, where he spent the remainder of his life except for six months during World War I, when he was supervisor of the dining hall at Notre Dame. He is survived by a brother and several nieces and nephews, including Sister Valera Walker CSC of Michigan City, Ind.

 

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Notre Dame at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in the Community Cemetery at Notre Dame. Friends may call at Columba Hall on the campus after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
