Mrs. Emily
Wakeman.
Mrs. Emily Wakeman, 206 N. State St., Mishawaka, died at 1:17 a.m. today in the
Morrow Nursing Home after several years' illness. She was born in Chicago
Jan. 27, 1855, and came here in 1927 from Chicago. She was married to
Frank T. Schulgen, who died in 1920, and in 1925 married Walter O. Wakeman, who
survives. She leaves also a son, Robert F. Schulgen, of Mishawaka, and a
sister, Mrs. Catherine Bergthold, Chicago. Friends may call in the Forest
G. Hay Funeral Home from 7 to 9:30 p.m. today. The body will be taken to
Blake & Lamb Funeral Home, 79th and Loomis Sts. in Chicago. The
funeral will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church in
Chicago with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery there.
