James D. "Jim" Wagoner, 75, of Webster St., Mishawaka died at 5 am Friday, Nov. 29 in his residence. Jim was born in Mishawaka on Aug. 20, 1927, to James A. & Cecelia (Weinal) Wagoner who preceded him in death. Jim graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1946. He later became President of Abstract Company of St. Joseph County retiring in 1992 after 46 years of service. Jim belonged to Knollwood Country Club, the South Bend Elks and Moose Lodges and St. Monica Catholic Church. He served on the board of directors of the Indiana Land Title Association and the Home Builders Association of St. Joseph County. He was a life member of the Indiana Land Title Association and a member of the American Land Title Association.

Jim married the former Theresa A. (Varga) in South Bend on Nov. 12, 1949. She survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Louise M. (John) Mark of Walkerton and Linda S. Wagoner of Mishawaka; one grandchild, Joseph Mark; and a sister, Mary Bailey of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2 in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 10:30 am Tuesday with Fr. James Stoyle officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County 111 Sunnybrook Ct., South Bend, IN 46637.
