James M. Wagner

SOUTH BEND - James M. Wagner, 59, passed away at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, in his residence. James was born on May 17, 1950, to the late Louis and Valerie (Krzyzaniak) Wagner. He was preceded in death by his son, James A. Wagner. On June 19, 1971, he married Kathleen (Hicks) Wagner in South Bend, who survives along with their two children, Laurie (Lee) Scott of Scottsdale, AZ, and Mark Alan Wagner of South Bend; two sisters, Cheryl (Eddie) Cash of Litchfield Park, AZ, and Jean (Jerry) Melvin of Bedford, IN; and by his two brothers, Dennis (Nancy) Wagner of Grand Blanc, MI, and Ronald (Diane) Wagner of Litchfield Park, AZ. James served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion Post 284, VFW and the Army-Navy Club. He enjoyed NASCAR and golfing. He retired from Bosh Engineering and was the former owner of Mr. Moos. Jim was currently working security for Allied Barton Security. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, December 18, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. Cremation will take place.
