Rudolph James Wade

Mr. Rudolph James Wade, 55,
affectionately known as ''Rudy,'' loving father, son and brother
of Cedarwood Lane, South Bend, Ind., passed away following a
brief illness on Wednesday, July 21, in Memorial Hospital, South
Bend. Rudy was born on Dec. 16, 1943, in South Bend, to Ruth Lewis
and Wilkie Wade. He graduated from Central High School in 1962.
He then went on to serve four years in the United States Air
Force, from which he was honorably discharged.
In 1964 Rudy married Ola M. Fouche of
Niles, Mich. From that union they produced two children, Tracie
Alynn Richardson and Dawn Ellise Wade. After moving to
Detroit, Mich., in 1967, he worked at Detroit Diesel for 11
years. In 1990 he became a member of the Pentecostal Church of
God in Christ. Rudy leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ruth
Lewis of South Bend; two daughters, Tracie A. (John) Richardson
and Dawn Wade, both of Southfield, Mich.; three brothers, Jay C.
''Mike'' Johnson and Rickey Fred Jones, both of
South Bend, and Odell Johnson of West Bloomfield, Mich.; a
sister, Thealyn Lewis; an aunt, Ruth Reed; and a close
friend and companion, Delores ''Dee'' Hughes, all of South
Bend; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and
friends. Edolph Wayne Wade, Rudy's identical twin, preceded him
in death in1964.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on
Monday, July 26, in the Pentecostal Cathedral Church of God in
Christ, with visitation occurring one hour prior to services.
Alford's Mortuary has been entrusted with handling the
arrangements.
