SOUTH BEND - Mr. Herman Edward "Chris" Troupe Wade,
33, a resident of North Brookfield Street, South Bend, Indiana,
passed away at 1:30 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008, in Memorial
Hospital. Herman was born September 6, 1974, to his parents,
Herman Wade and Mary Troop in Joliet, Illinois.
Under the stewardship of his mother, he accepted Jesus Christ as
his Savior. He graduated from high school and worked as a
self-employed mortgage broker. Herman especially enjoyed playing
basketball. He was good to his children and will always be
remembered by his family and friends. Loving family members who
survive to cherish his memory include two daughters, Tasharra Troupe
and Shaniya Troupe; two sons, Sidney Troupe and Herman E. Troupe
IV, all of South Bend; his father, Herman Wade Jr. of Piqua,
Ohio; one sister, Tamikia Anderson of Dallas, TX; one
brother, Reginald Hubert of South Bend; paternal
grandmother, Claudette Green of Gary, IN; aunts, Eddie Mae
Dunbar of Little Rock, AR, Carolyn Jordan of Marion
AR, Dianna Collier of Detroit, MI, Evelyn Akinboboye
of Memphis, TN, and Vivian Odem of Dallas, TX; along with
a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Wade will he held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday in Alford's Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted. Friends may call in the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
