MISHAWAKA – Miss Juanita V. Wachs, 87, of Countryside Place, formerly of Seventh Street, died at 7:30 a.m. today in Countryside Place. Miss Wachs retired as office manager from Dearborn Crane. She was born Feb. 12, 1907, in Steger, Ill., and lived in this area most of her life. Surviving are a sister, Bernadette Oebekerk of South Bend; and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella, and American Legion Post 161 Auxiliary.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
