Mrs. Peter Voros. Mrs. Rose Voros,
88, of 1033 W. Jefferson, died at 5:05 a.m. today in St. Josephs
Hospital after a brief illness. Born on Aug. 18, 1886, in Sopron
Megye, Hungary, she lived her since 1914, moving from Hungary. On
Nov. 22, 1930, she married Peter Voros, who survives. Also
surviving are two sons, Joseph Balha of South Bend and
Stephen Balha of Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Nemeth
of South Bend; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St.
Stephens Catholic Church. Msgr. Elmer G. Peterson, pastor,
will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may
call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the
Kaniewski and Sons Funeral home where a parish wake service will
be at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Voros was a member of the Ladies
Rosary Society of the church whose members will recite the rosary
at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
