SOUTH BEND – Mrs. Mary Vittorie, 87, of 53730 Juniper Road, died at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday in Healthwin Hospital after an illness of three months. She was born Aug. 1, 1886 in Italy and had lived in South Bend for 60 years, coming from Italy.

She was married in South Bend to Louis Vittorie, who died in 1955. She is survived by three sons, Frank S. of Indianapolis and Joseph and John, both of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Maio of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Donald F. Guertin CSCC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
