Aug. 19, 1924 - March 22, 2010MISHAWAKA - Louise Vicsik, 85, residing in Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 7:57 AM Monday, March 22, 2010, in the Golden Living Center, Mishawaka. She retired in 1994 from Brite Way Store after 20 years of service, then worked at Potato Creek State Park. Louise was born on August 19, 1924, in Terre Haute, IN, to Blaine and Maude Della (Smith) Morris, and had lived here since 1949, coming from Terre Haute. In 1942 she married John Presnell; then, in 1975, in South Bend, she married Joseph Vicsik. Both preceded her in death. Mrs. Vicsik is survived by her three daughters, Karen (Rodney) Rader, Sharon Presnell and Janice "Lu" Condon, all of South Bend; two sons, Bobbie (Sandra) Presnell of South Bend and Johnnie (Shari) Presnell of LaPorte; six grandchildren, Randy Anderson, Rhonda Anderson, Kelly Kintner, Shari Scott, Charlie Presnell and John Presnell III; and nine great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Martha Jane Morris and Helen Morris, and her brother, Harold Morris, all preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM today, March 24, 2010, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Ed Erskin will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN. Friends may visit with the family from noon until time of services today in the funeral home.
