NEW CARLISLE - Norman R. Vice, 65, of
Bray Street, died at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital of
South Bend. Mr. Vice retired in 1988 from Bendix Corp. after 38
years of service as a timekeeper. He was born June 8, 1930, in
South Bend.
On Nov. 5, 1949, in Portsmouth, Va., he
married Dorothy L. Nunley. She survives with three
daughters, Judith Grzegorek, Katherine Vice and Janice
Vice, all of Mishawaka; a son, Ronald of South Bend; six
grandchildren; and a brother, Charles of California. He was a
member of Masonic Lodge 204, Terre Coupee; United Auto Workers
Local 9; Light of Life Church, South Bend; and was a Navy
veteran.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in
Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert St. Burial will be in
Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
