MISHAWAKA - Norma Jean Velleman, 61, of Concord Court, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Miss Velleman was employed by Uniroyal Plastics Co. for 39 years. She was born Nov. 6, 1932, in Mishawaka, and was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by her mother, Loretta Velleman of Mishawaka; a sister, Phyllis Eckstein of Powell, Tenn.; a niece and three nephews. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church, American Business Women's Association, Uniroyal Ladies Club and Monday Night Women's Golf League.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
