MISHAWAKA - Debra Kay Vaughn, 45, of Mishawaka, passed
away in her home Saturday, April 21, 2007, after an illness.
Debra was born on January 4, 1962, in Mishawaka, to Jack and Jean
(Vaughn) Graham. She is survived by her grandmother, Ellen
Vaughn of Mishawaka; mother, Jean Graham of South Bend; fiancé,
Tim Weaver of Mishawaka; two daughters, Amber Vaughn and
Mary Vaughn, both of Mishawaka; three stepdaughters, Angla Weaver
of Nappanee, Lisa Weaver of Mishawaka, and Michelle Weaver of
South Bend; one stepson, Tim Weaver Jr. of South Bend; 12
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived
by three sisters, Donna (Jamie) Swift, Tina Shaw,
and Tammy (Jim) Heater, all of Mishawaka; and two
brothers, Ken (Pauline) Graham of South Bend and Karl (Iris)
Graham of Mishawaka; and a good friend, Julie Niespodziany. She
is preceded in death by her father in 1996, and her grandfather,
Vernon Vaughn in 1981. Debra was raised by her grandparents. She
was a graduate of Elkhart Central High School, class of 1980. She
worked for Northern Indiana Children's Hospital for 10 years,
then went to work for the Indiana Toll Road until her illness
kept her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776
McKinley Highway, Osceola, with two hours of visitation prior to
the service. Rev. James Davidson will officiate. Burial will
follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial
donation may be made to the family.
