SOUTH BEND -- Michael P. Vargo Jr., 41, died Tuesday, December 5, in Memorial Hospital. Surviving are his son, Joseph Vargo of North Manchester, IN; father, Michael P. Vargo; maternal grandmother, Mary "Mitzi" Madar; sister, Joanne (Gary) Vida; brother, Frank Vargo, and girlfriend, Lynn A. Stopper, all of South Bend.

There will be no services or visitation. Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, is handling arrangements. The Vargo family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Memorial Hospital during their time of need.
