SOUTH BEND - Geraldine Lucille Van Zant, 87, of N. Le Boulevard de la Paix, died at 8:40 a.m. Monday in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. She was the owner of Van-Scott Inc., California, for 30 years. She was born Dec. 6, 1906, in Owosso, Mich., moving here in 1986.

Surviving are two sisters, Catherine Lee and Janette Ward, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Frederick Van Zant of Mishawaka, and Charles Van Zant of South Bend.

Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements.
