Lori Van Winkle, 28, of Corby Street, South Bend, Ind., died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in her residence. She was born January 17, 1973, in South Bend and was employed by King Gyro's in South Bend.
Surviving Miss Van Winkle is a daughter, Loren McLeod and a son, Landon Van Winkle; her parents, Donald Van Winkle of Niles, Mich., and Elizabeth (Horvath) (Jay) Johnson of Bremen, Ind.; two sisters, Julie (Dennis) Jackson of Niles and Tammy (Michael) Fry of South Bend; and a brother, Donald Van Winkle of Mishawaka, Ind.; her nieces and nephews, Heather Jackson of Niles, Joshua Van Winkle, Sarah Van Winkle, Courtney Van Winkle, Kayla Van Winkle and Troy Fisher, all of South Bend.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 4 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen Catholic Church, with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Miss Van Winkle belonged to the bowling league at Beacon Bowl. Memorial contributions may be made to Lori's children in care of 1st Source Bank.
