Frank Van Paris, 87, of Tanglewood
Lane, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 12:41 p.m. on Sunday, June
4, in Hospice House of South Bend, Ind. Frank was born in South
Bend on Oct. 18, 1912 to the late Virginia (VanLanker) and
Theophil Van Paris.
Frank married Margaret Tatay in South
Bend on April 6, 1940. She survives. He is also survived by two
daughters, Sandra K. (Bernard) Gorski of Granger, Ind. and
Marsha A. McKay of San Antonio, Texas; three
grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Gorski of Indianapolis, Ind., Thomas
(Debbie) Gorski of Osceola, Ind., and Brenda (Rick) Torres
of Granger; and by five Great great-grandchildren.
Frank retired from the South Bend Water
Treatment Plant in 1976 after 25 years of service. Frank was a
member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church, South Bend, a lifetime
member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #58, South Bend and was
a veteran in the United States Navy.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday,
June 7, in St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2114 East Jefferson,
South Bend. Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery, South
Bend. Friends may call one hour before services in the church.
The Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, is handling arrangements. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of
St. Joseph County.
