MISHAWAKA - Margaret A. Van Nevel, 72, of River Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 2 p.m Thursday, Dec. 19, in her residence.

She was born Oct. 16, 1924, in South Bend, and lived in the area all of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Van Nevel of South Bend; two sons, Mauri (Debbi) Van Nevel of South Bend and Ken (Connie) Van Nevel of Granger, Ind.; four grandchildren, Ryan Van Nevel of South Bend, and Kelly, Kari and K.J. Van Nevel, all of Granger.

Mrs. Van Nevel was active in the Battell Center, Mishawaka, in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Auxiliary Post 360, Mishawaka.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23 in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive, South Bend, with Rev. Kevin Buckey officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Battell Center, 904 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
