SOUTH BEND - Nancy Lee VanLue, 66, of South Bend, passed
away during the early morning hours on February 19 in Memorial
Hospital. She was born on December 29, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois
to the late William and Katherine (Thomas) Worley.
Nancy married M.G. "Jerry" VanLue
on December 29, 1990, he survives. Nancy is also survived by her
two children, from a previous marriage; Linda Parrott, of
Bloomington, Indiana, and Mark P. Burden, of Plano, Texas;
two step-children, along with three grandchildren. Nancy was a
employed at the University of Notre Dame, and received the
President's award in 2003, for her service to the school and to
the community. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and the Red
Hat Society.
Friends may visit with the family on
Saturday, March 1, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St.
from 1 until 2 p.m. Following the visitation there will be a
memorial service honoring Nancy's life, being officiated by Rev.
Ervin Mize, and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Cremation has taken
place. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Saint
