Henry L. Van Hove, 72, of West 10th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8th, in Hospice of St. Joseph County.
Mr. Van Hove was born on Jan. 31, 1927, in Mishawaka, as the son of the late Leonard and Anna (DeKever) Van Hove.
On June 15, 1957, in Mishawaka, he married the former Dolores ''Lorrie'' Nicolini, who survives.
He is also survived by their three daughters, Angela (Jeff) Kindig of Mishawaka, and Teresa (David) Bailey and Diana (David) Vervynckt, both of South Bend; and by five grandchildren, Joseph Kindig, Jessica Kindig, Jacquelyn Kindig, Hanna Vervynckt and Amanda Vervynckt.
Mr. Van Hove was employed by Jack Hickey Builders, from which he retired in 1992. He was a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, as well as a member of the B-K Club in Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, where wake prayers were held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 11, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
