MISHAWAKA - Mary B. Van Gundy, 82, of Hamilton Grove Retirement Community, New Carlisle, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 5:10 a.m. today in Michiana Community Hospital, South Bend, after an illness.

Mrs. Van Gundy retired from Bendix Corp., South Bend, after 29 years of service.

She was born May 11, 1912 in Rochester and was a lifelong resident. In 1946, in South Bend, as Mary B. Greer Bunch, she married John W. Van Gundy. He died Dec. 28, 1984. She is survived by a son, Terry of North Liberty; and a sister, Willadean Cohen of Mishawaka.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call two hours before services in the funeral home.
