MISHAWAKA - Kathryn I. Vandygriff, 76, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, October 25, in Fountainview Place Mishawaka. Kathryn was born on August 28, 1931, in South Bend, IN., to Jesse L. and Margaret M. (Shafer) Perrin.

On October 30, 1948, as Kathryn I. Perrin, she married Carl E. Vandygriff Sr. Carl preceded her in death on July 30, 1989. Kathryn was also preceded in death by her son, Carl E. Vandygriff Jr. on December 20, 2005. Kathryn is survived by a grandson, Robert E. Vandygriff of Mishawaka and his fiancée Michelle Andrzejewski; a granddaughter, Sherry Deal and her husband, Steven, of Mishawaka; and three great grandchildren, Timothy Deal, Gina Deal and Joseph Deal.

Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Monday with Rev. John Gregory officiating the services with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
