Services for Edward F. Vanderbosch,
75, of 1006 Willard Street, LaPorte, former resident of
Mishawaka, who died at 6:20 a.m. today in LaPorte Hospital after
a two-week illness, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph
Catholic Church, LaPorte. Msgr. John Witte, pastor, will
officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, in Mishawaka.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. in the Haverstock Funeral Home in
LaPorte.
Mr. Vanderbosch was born March 13, 1898 in
Avilla, Ind. and had lived 10 years in LaPorte having come
from Mishawaka. He was a retired employee of the Bendix
Corporation.
He was married in South Bend to Florence Poehman,
who died in 1962. On Oct. 26, 1963 he married Marie Pountain, who
survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mr.s Dodothy Lindzy
and Mrs. Ruth Hugvaert, both os South Bend; Mrs. Carol Chamberlin
of Mishawaka and Mrs. Shirley DHaechens of Thousand Oaks,
Calif.; a son James of Mishawaka; 19 grandchildren; five
great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Johanna Thallemer of
Mishawaka, and three brothers, John, Amandus and Adolph, all of
South Bend.

died in December 1983.
